I am a portrait and fine art photographer whose work moves between glamour, film noir, pin-up, surrealism, and intimacy. Inspired by Old Hollywood, I balance elegance and drama with theatricality — from luminous star portraits to shadow-drenched noir and playful mid-century pin-up. At the heart of my work is my love of classic vintage portraiture, where the photograph becomes both a record and a performance.

I work across 35mm, medium format, large format film, and digital, choosing each format for the depth, texture, or clarity it brings. I love exploring color — from radiant tones and vivid palettes to subtle hues that shape atmosphere — while remaining deeply drawn to the timeless drama of black and white, where shadow and contrast bring intensity and mystery.

My approach favors presence and expression over spectacle. I don’t rely on elaborate sets or staging; instead, I focus on mood, performance, and the psychological weight a subject carries. Whether it’s a reclining figure, a surreal object, or a fleeting gesture, my photographs invite the viewer into a world that is both theatrical and intimate.

Based in Chicago, I create work that celebrates the glamour of the past while keeping it vividly alive in the present — photographs that echo history, yet feel timeless and immediate.
